I think I’ve made it clear I don’t care much for “progressive” Muslims. I consider them “regressive” Moslems.
Of all the dangers Muslims face today, they are some of the worst. Because progressive Moslems want to do what the Devil himself can’t do:
Change Islam.
They want to turn Islam into some sort of kumbaya faith where everyone’s the same and we’re all going to heaven.
You’re a Christian and you worship Jesus and you believe Allah is a false god? You’re going to heaven!
You’re a Zionist Jew and you support the killing of Muslims in Palestine? You’re going to heaven!
You’re a homosexual sodomite and want the world to accept your disgusting behavior? You’re going to heaven!
You’re a secular atheist and you don’t believe in any diety at all? You’re going to heaven!
You’re a Muslim who believes in the original meaning of Jihad (struggling in the path of Allah with your self and your wealth) and you insist on following the rules of Islam no matter how unpopular it makes you? Well…you might not go to heaven!
I’m a great online debater. Especially when it comes to topics about Islam. I can argue these fakers down point by point. Unfortunately these guys tend to delete my comments because I make them look like fools.
But that’s alright. They can’t run forever. It’s time to wage verbal Jihad on these people, Inshallah.
Throughout the end of this year, Inshallah, my goal is to take on as many “regressive” Moslem blogs as I can. And I’m coming at them hard, with both guns blazing (this is a figure of speech obviously; I’m don’t really want to hurt these guys – just humble them).
May Allah guide me and accept my effort to defend His Book and Messenger. Ameen.

Assalaam Alaikum brother Abu Ibrahim,
I completely with you 100% agree on the subject of Progressive Muslim bloggers. I just don’t understand them and their need to “modernize” and “liberate” Islam. Astaghfirullah. I’m very much disgusted when I read blogs like Muslimah Media Watch.
For this reason, while browsing the blogsphere, I am hesitant when I come across something that seems Islamic in name, however turns out to be entirely different. The search for credible and reputable sources when it comes to our deen in the cyber world can be difficult. Can you please name some other sites (if you don’t mind) that you find questionable or fall under the progressive category?
JazakAllah khair.
BTW, hope you & your family are well, Insha’Allah. =)
I hope Allah forgives me if I’m wrong in any of these cases. Here are a few blogs and websites I find at least questionable.
The American Muslim Blog This one is actually on the cusp. Sometimes the author has good things to say and sometimes it seems like his blog came from Bizarro World.
Muslimah Media Watch – I got into a big debate with them about whether homosexuality was haraam or not. They deleted all my comments. ‘Nuff said.
Altmuslim – When Rima Fakih won Miss Michigan back in May, this website said most Muslims congratulated her win. They must know some other Muslims than the ones I know.
Elan the Mag – This site is made up of many different writers and some are worse than others. But one writer jeered Morocco for trying to ban an Elton John concert. That’s all I need to know.
Islamic Supreme Council of America – Besides their really egotistical name, one needs only to read a few passages from this website to see where they’re coming from.
There are others…many, many others. But it’s time to break fast.
Ramadan Mubarak!!
