On Wednesday, October 28, 2009, the FBI performed a raid on a warehouse in Dearborn, Michigan.
The raid was to arrest Imam Luqman Abdullah for gun possession and intent to sell illegal weapons.

According to the FBI, several people who were with Imam Luqman surrendered, but he did not. The FBI states Imam Luqman Abdullah opened fire, and they returned fire, killing him.
I can’t verify the statements of the FBI. They’ve done they’re own fair share of lying and criminal activity, so there’s no telling where the truth lies.
Though I never knew Imam Luqman personally, I did hear his khutbahs on several occassions. He would often visit Atlanta and give the khutbah at the West End Islamic Community Center.
He was a very powerful speaker and seemed sincere in his words. I don’t remember him calling for Muslims to commit illegal activities.
What this incident shows is that American Muslims have to be very careful. The failing empire will do whatever it deems necessary to silence Islam. Even killing obscure Imams in impoverished midwestern suburbs.
You may have already heard many horrible things about this brother. Fox News reports he “allegedly” did this and “reportedly” did that.
I’ll repeat: I’ve never heard him call for taking over America, attacking the SuperBowl, or any other crazy stuff. The Muslims of the West End community know him even better than I, and I have only heard good things about him.
Muslims, don’t let this dunya fool you. We are only travelers. And right now, we’re traveling through some very hostile country.
May Allah forgive Imam Luqman Abdullah. Whether he was guilty or not, he was our Muslim brother.
