Anthony Hoh – Former Marine Resigns In Protest To Afghan War

Anthony Hoh is a former Marine captain who fought in Iraq and was cited for “uncommon bravery.”

After Iraq, he became a foreign service official in Afghanistan and came into contact with many Afghan people.

Within five months of being in Afghanistan, he resigned from his post, stating in his resignation letter, that he has lost “confidence in the strategic purpose of the United States’ presence in Afghanistan.”

See? Some Americans do have sense. I’m not alone here. Mr. President needs to stand by his convictions (you know he’s  a dove at heart) and not buckle to Fox News and Hillary Clinton (thank God she didn’t win).

Mr. Hoh has realized what many other people have realized. The U.S. is not going to win in Afghanistan. The Afghans don’t really want us there. Who, in their right minds, like occupiers?

And Afghanistan is not Iraq. These ragtag, Kalashnikov wielding, sandal wearing Muslims have beat just about everyone who has tried to come through.

Even after eight years of U.S. occupation, they are still waging successful attacks against American soldiers.

Take a look at these satellite images of Afghanistan’s terrain. There’s a reason it’s called the graveyard of empires.

I encourage you to read Anthony Hoh’s resignation letter. It is long, but very enlightening.
